HE ALLEGEDLY MASSAGED HIS STUDENT’S MANHOOD! Lecturer arraigned in court over sodomy

A 40-year-old lecturer, Aremu Olufemi, was arraigned before an Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, over alleged sodomy with one of his student, identified as Jamiu Lateef.

The accused who is a lecturer at the College of Agriculture, Moore Plantation, Apata, Ibadan allegedly massaged the manhood of the 27-year-old Lateef.

Olufemi is also accused of demanding that his students buy him an Infinix Hotnote IV phone as gratification in exchange for marks.

According to the prosecutor, Olufemi coaxed the students through one Ganiyat Adedeji to buy him the cell phone to upgrade their marks in Agriculture Engineering.

According to NAN, the Prosecutor, Mr Matthew Ojeah said the offences contravened Section 98 (1) and 217 of the Criminal Code, Cap 38, Vol. II, Laws of Oyo State, 2000.

The accused however pleaded not guilty to the charges.

He was granted bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.

Ogunbona adjourned the case until Oct .19 for mention.
