HE DROVE AGAINST TRAFFIC! Driver dies, three others injured in Ogun tanker, truck collision [Graphic photo]
The driver of a tanker died on Friday after his tanker collided with a truck loaded with crates of alcoholic beverages.
WuzupNaija gathered that three others were injured in the accident which occurred near Odogbolu junction along the Ijebu Ode/Benin Expressway.
It was further learnt that the deceased, whose identity has not been ascertained, had driven his vehicle against the traffic.
He was said to be travelling outside Ijebu Ode.
The accident was said to have led to gridlock on this axis, as vehicular traffic on the lane was diverted to the incoming lane.

The Public Relations officer of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Babatunde Akinbiyi, said firefighters were on the ground in case of any fire outbreak.
He said,
“Four people were involved in the accident. The tanker driver was the
only person in the vehicle and he was the only one who died. Three others were in the truck carrying crates of alcoholic beverages, they were injured.“The tanker driver caused the accident. He drove against the traffic, and in the process the tanker collided with an oncoming truck laden with crates of alcoholic beverages.
