The management of Heritage Bank has clarified the news circulating among Big Brother Naija viewers that a housemate, Tobi Bakre, is a staff of the financial institution.

In a statement released on their official social media handles, Heritage Bank, said that they were aware that people had been linking the three-time #DoubleWahala head of house with the organization.

For record purposes, the bank said Tobi was a staff, however, he had resigned officially prior to the reality television show

The statement read,

“We know you have all been wondering about Tobi’s connection to Heritage Bank,” said the statement, adding,

“This is to clarify that he is a former staff of the bank and resigned appropriately prior to the Big Brother Naija show @bigbronaija.”

The clarifications follow numerous tweets linking Tobi to Heritage Bank. Some viewers have also alleged that Heritage bank was one of the reasons Tobi received a perceived form of preference in the reality show.
