Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s reaction to the magnificent performance of Barcelona star Lionel Messi against Liverpool on Wednesday is sparking reactions among football fans.
Messi scored two goals which brought his career goals for Barcelona to 600 as the Catalans defeated Liverpool 3-0 in the first leg of the semifinal match of the UEFA Champions League.

In his comment, he described the Argentine as Mr Messi.
Wenger said,
“It is the typical thing I have seen in Barcelona, you come out with a feeling that you have done well in the first half of the game, but they were better than you in the final third. Every pass was great. That makes the difference.”
“And the second part of it, like we have seen so many times in our lives is Messi.
“Mr Messi came in and said ok, let me finish the job now.”

See Wenger @biolakazeem , he took notes and nuanced the game. Most of the other ones just offer cliches. I enjoyed the Mr. Messi part. Lol. https://t.co/iQJpK9R1o6
