Hilarious Twitter reactions trail Naira Marley, Zlatan’s arrest by EFCC
Following the arrest of two upcoming singers, Afeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley and Omoniyi Temidayo popularly known as Zlatan, Nigerians have taken to social media to mock the singers.
The singers were arrested alongside four others by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) during an early morning raid on their Lekki residence on Friday morning.
A statement by EFCC said they were arrested in connection with alleged internet fraud, cybercrime and money laundering.
Since the news of their arrest broke on Friday morning, Twitter has been abuzz as Nigerians poke fun at the artistes who have been proponents of the activities of internet fraudsters also known as ‘Yahoo Boys’.
Naira Marley recently featured Zlatan in a new song titled ‘Am I a Yahoo Boy’ after his controversial social media post advocating the cause of ‘Yahoo Boys’.
