How did you pass JAMB? Twitter users mock JAMB handler over English blunder

The official Twitter handle of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is being derided by social media users after it committed an English blunder on the microblogging site.

The handle wrote ‘Am’ instead of ‘I’m’ while responding to a complaint and social media users are lambasting the handler over the error.

A Twitter user Dennis Terna (@Denniman) had tweeted at the verified @JAMBHQ handle to lodge a complaint.

Dennis tweeted:

“I was helping a friend process correction of name on your portal. After making payment of N2,500 to that effect, I didn’t see the option for correction of name. I’ve contacted support but no response.”

Responding to the complaint, the handler wrote:

“Send your ticket number for me to confirm. Am sure you must have been attended to.”

Despite criticisms from Twitter users, the tweet, posted at 11:39 am on Monday 2, December, is yet to be corrected neither has it been taken down as at 1:50 pm on Tuesday.
