Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State on Wednesday displayed his humility again when he visited some old women in the market whose trade in stock is daily sales of kola nut in Ado-Ekiti.

This was made public in pictures shared on social media a few hours ago, showing the governor in a chit-chat with the happy old women.

He obviously had a swell time with them and their reaction to questions from journalists afterwards showed their encounter with Governor Fayose is one that will last with them forever.

This is not the first time Governor Fayose is paying an unexpected visit to residents of Ado-Ekiti in their business places. Some time ago, the governor was photographed buying Kpomo in the market, he was also spotted buying roasted maize from a lady as well as commuting on a commercial motorcycle (Okada) to mention a few.

Meanwhile, the governor didn’t spend the whole of the day visiting and chatting with the elderly as he also facilitated with some of the parents of the abducted Dapchi girls that were released yesterday by Boko Haram terrorist group.

Fayose who is a strong critic of the APC-led Federal Government described the abduction and release of some 106 girls from a government-owned secondary school in Yobe State as “drama scripted by the government and its agents to swindle Nigerians.”
