On-air personality, Toke Makinwa, has shared the story of a wife whose husband forged her death certificate to relocate to the United States with a mistress.

In the Twitter post-Toke, however, could not ascertain the veracity of the story adding that maybe people made up these bizarre stories because of the wickedness that is prevalent in the world.

The story explained the plight of the unknown woman who taught she was living a fairytale world with her husband but unfortunately found out that he planned to elope with his mistress.

The heartbreaking story also revealed that attached to the man’s application was his living wife’s death certificate, along with a marriage certificate with his mistress.

The tweet has generated 301 comments, 636 retweets and 340 likes. One particular tweeter user said  “He is a perfect example of slow poison. The lady should act fast and take all that she can with her kids before she is left with nothing because her hubby is long gone.”

Happened to one woman I know. Her husband is in the US with the new wife now. She’s in Surulere with her son trying to make ends meet. He’s not even paying her house rent or his son’s school fees anymore

Go to the US embassy with your claim and proof, your biggest proof is that you’re still alive. Meaning that he used fake documents. Also, I don’t know where all these will end but also know that it is possible your husband is now under a strong influence… Act fast, and PRAY!
