I MAKE N10, 000 DAILY! Police arrest 51-year-old man who poses as task force official to extort motorists
Officers of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested one Abiodun Adeleye, who poses as an official of the Lagos State Task Force to extort money from innocent motorists.
Reports said the 51-year-old suspect, who was nabbed for extortion and impersonation operates under Mile 12 bridge.
It was gathered that he was nabbed after he illegally arrested the owner of a Toyota Camry car and collected N3,000 as bribe from him.
The suspect confessed that he started extortion and impersonation 10 months ago in Ketu and Mile 12 areas, adding that he makes N5,000 to N10,000 daily.
The agency recovered a Motorola GP 340 security walkie-talkie from the suspect.
