Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West senatorial district at the National Assembly, has said he will make himself available to the police today.

The embattled senator made this known on his Twitter handle a few minutes ago.

He said,

“I will make myself available to the police today. My resolve to speak the truth and defend the poor masses of NIGERIA is Total. We shall overcome!!!.”

The police had laid siege to his Shanga, Maitama, Abuja residence since Monday afternoon.

They also barricaded the street and prevented visitors from entering the lawmaker’s home.
