IBB is alive, in Germany
Nigeria’s former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, is alive.
Babangida is in Germany and not dead as rumoured by some sections of the media, a source close to the family, who pleaded anonymity said.
The source condemned the rumour mongers, saying they were wicked people.
The source, who is always at Babangida’s Hill Top Mansion in Minna, Niger State, said the former Military President is expected in Nigeria latest by Tuesday from his trip to Germany where he went for medical treatment.
“It is a false story,” he said. “This is inhuman. We should pray for him, wish him well and not dead.”
However, everything seemed normal in Minna despite the fact that the rumour had gone viral.
Babangida’s son, Mohammed, was spotted at the EL-AMIN International School where he picked up his children from school around 1pm on Monday. However he did not speak to the press.
