Nollywood actress Funke Adesiyan has taken Wale Aladejana, a protege of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, to the cleaners for attacking Busola Dakolo over her damning rape allegations against the cleric.

WuzupNaija reports that Busola, wife of Timi Dakolo in an interview with YNaija, exposed the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, (COZA) for raping her at 17.

Reacting to the allegations, Wale Jana, the CEO of  Sapphire Group and a godson of the embattled pastor, condemned Busola and Timi, describing them as attention seekers who only want to make money from the allegations.

Aladejana’s reaction to the allegations has sparked outrage on social media, with many Twitter users calling for a boycott of his company’s products.

Also peeved by Wale’s reaction, Adesiyan took to Instagram to lambaste the entrepreneur for his “disgusting write up”.

She wrote:

“@walejana I just read the disgusting write up you put up aimed at discrediting @busoladakolo whilst tarnishing her husband alongside. You are neither the accused @biodunfatoyinbo nor his shadow. How can you stand up for someone who lives his life devoid of you?

“I am ashamed you are a Yoruba man. Our men are known to be strong, firm and protector of their girl child. Men like you are reason rape victims commit suicide. 

“Let the accused defend himself in truth and light.

“You call @timidakolo a struggling artise. You must be a joke, a fake and nothing close to the image you project.

“Rape is such a shattering experience. More than 80% of the victims don’t even find the courage to speak up ever. They are emotionally and psychologically tortured throughout their lives yet if and when they find the courage to speak up, some lily-livered, spineless, irrational, loose-mouth, societal misfit of a man like you tries to reduce them in a bid to discredit their claim.

“Busola dear, please stay strong. I’m sure you know it will not be easy when you chose to speak up given the personality involved (as our society is status driven) but keep your voice loud and firm for other young girls who are suffering in silence. May God grant you the closure you seek.”
