I’m happy to be part of Solskjaer’s vision for Man United, Mata says after new two-year deal
Juan Mata has promised Manchester United fans an exciting future after being told of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans for the club.
The Spanish playmaker has signed a two-year contract – ending the uncertainty over his future.
And despite growing concern among supporters that United are being left behind by their fiercest rivals Manchester City and Liverpool – Mata is adamant Solskjaer’s planned overhaul will be a success.
He said:
“It is a real honour to continue to represent this amazing club and our incredible fans. I have been at Manchester United for five years and I am proud to call Old Trafford my home.
“I am looking forward to working with Ole and his fantastic coaching staff – the vision that they have for the club is truly exciting and I am so happy that I will be a part of that.”
