IMMORAL PURPOSE! 23-year-old Nigerian arrested in Ghana for soliciting sex

The Ghanaian Police have arrested a Nigerian sex worker at a popular brothel in the West Africa country.

The 23-year-old Nigerian and 10 others were reportedly arrested by the Koforidua District Police Command after a raid on  Bula Spot. They were found to be allegedly soliciting for sex at the Spot.

The owner of the facility, 61-year-old Anthony Ekar, was also arrested in the raid.

Eastern Regional Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Eben Tetteh said the district commander, Chief Superintendent Aduhene Binneh led a team of police officers and community protection personnel to the scene and apprehended the suspects.

The police team, according to the PRO, was able to arrest Gideon Syivor Mendah, 42; Michael Adjei, 40; William Danquah, 24; Ekpo Torbe, 23; Kwaku Ayogame, 30 and Kwame Musah, 24.

The rest are Mary Wondalo, 39; Rachel Adofo, 26; Constance Abiaw, 20; Joyce Monday, 23; a Nigerian national and Paulina Ayisi, 20, who according to the police were “soliciting or importuning for certain immoral purpose.”

DSP Tetteh said keeping a brothel is contrary to section 277 of the criminal offences Act 1960, Act 29.
