Tacha disqualification

Disqualified Big Brother Naija housemate, Natacha Akide aka Tacha has reacted to the social media uproar that trailed her disqualification from the TV reality show.

In her interview with COOL FM OAPs Do2dtun and Kemi Smallz on Wednesday, she described the uproar as devastating coming at a time she was battling the trauma of her disqualification.

Tacha was disqualified just ten days to the end of the show following her physical confrontation with fellow housemate and eventual winner Mercy Eke.

Her disqualification sparked outrage and mixed reactions on social media as some users celebrated her exit while others express discomfort over the decision to disqualify her.

Upcoming rap sensation, Zlatan Ibile, also jumped on the trend by releasing a diss freestyle song to mock Tacha over her alleged body odour raised by Mercy to mock her during their fight.

Asked by one of the Kemi Smallz about the body odour claims, she responded:

Well I’m here, what do you think?

On the reactions and Zlatan’s diss song, she said:

“You know having a downtime, getting disqualified and being in my feelings, feeling remorseful and Nigerians are happy. That’s mad men. How can you put out something that makes everybody go wild. I’m sure he (Zlatan) got a lot of comment and everybody was happy.

“It’s great that in my down moment time I made Nigerians laugh and feel happy. I didn’t see it as anything. I like Zlatan it’s showbiz.”

Tacha also debunked claims on social media that she snubbed legendary hip hop singer, Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba, when he visited the house during the show.

She said:

“I saw a video they said Tacha snubbed Tuface and I was like no… I love Tuface, in the house, we don’t get to see people and when anybody comes to the house, it’s a big deal, we don’t even want you to go”

“I don’t even remember but from the little detail i was getting, you know we do ‘freeze’ in the house especially when there is an event, biggie calls like housemates.”
