IT’S TIME TO END BLOODSHED AND KIDNAPPINGS! Shehu Sani appeals to Buhari
The senator representing Kaduna central, Shehu Sani, has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to urgently equip and fund all security agencies in Nigeria to end bloodshed and kidnappings in the North.
Sani was reacted to the kidnapping of 87 passengers by armed bandits operating along Birnin-Gwari, Kaduna State.
Recall that armed bandits operating along Birnin-Gwari-Kaduna Highways kidnapped 87 passengers on Sunday.
According to the senator, the Bandits have superiority firepower for now.
The Kaduna lawmaker made this appeal on his Twitter page. He wrote,
“An appeal to @MBuhari to urgently fund & equip the Army, the Police, DSS and the Civil Defence to enable them combats the Bandits & Protect the people of Birnin Gwari LG, Kaduna state.
“It’s time to end the bloodshed and the kidnappings. The Bandits have superiority firepower for now.
“If we shouldn’t speak publicly about our party because we are members, then we shouldn’t speak publicly about our country because we are citizens.
“They kill soldiers, they Kill policemen, they Kill civilians, they raze villages, they steal cattle, they rob passengers, they abduct commuters, they chase out farmers, they kidnap women,they rape,they control the forest,they stalk,they lay siege;they are the Bandits of Birnin Gwari.”
