Join me to develop Imo, Uzodinma tells Ihedioha

The governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma on Tuesday urged the immediate past governor of Imo state, Emeka Ihedioha to join him and develop the state.

The governor who spoke to journalists at government house, immediately the Supreme Court struck out the application seeking to restore Ihedioha as the governor of the state, said that he was determined to advancing the fortunes of the state.
Uzodinma said that the ruling reflected the true feelings of the people of the state who voted him during the March 9, 2019 governorship election.

He commended the Judiciary for standing by the truth.

He promised that his administration would continue to deliver good governance and prosperity to the people of the state.

He called on his political opponents to close ranks and join him in developing the state in the interest of the people of the state.

The governor added that as the only state with an APC Governor in the southeast, he would embark on political evangelism to ensure that APC gains more state in the southeast.

Uzodinma said, “ Imo State is the only state that has APC as governor in the south East and I will embark on political evangelism to convert the people of other states to join APC.”
