JUNGLE JUSTICE! Car battery thief burnt alive in Cross River

A suspected thief on Saturday met his waterloo in Calabar, Cross River State after he was burnt alive by a mob for allegedly stealing car batteries.

WuzupNaija gathered that the deceased and two others had been terrorising the area and specialized in stealing car batteries.

However, on Saturday one of them was caught on Adak Ukoh street and set ablaze, while the remaining two escaped.

WuzupNaija recalled that in May, a suspected thief on Thursday met a gory end in Lagos after a mob lynched for some yet-to-be-revealed crime.

Viral photos and videos, which were circulated on Facebook on Thursday morning, showed the man pleading for his life.

The same month a young Nigerian soldier, identified as Victor Ochoma, was reportedly beaten to death in Rivers State over some stolen rods.

The sad news was shared by one Ekeakita Hector Chinem on his Facebook page on Monday.

According to Chinem, whose Facebook profile identified as the CEO of Knack Success Link Group, it was yet to ascertain that the deceased committed the crime.

He posted photos of the victim of jungle justice and wrote;

This young man (Victor Ochoma) was beaten to death for a crime that is yet to ascertain the facts.

That rod was stolen by unknown persons in the construction of the Ahoada, Odiemerenyi, Odieke and Ihugbogo road would not have lead to the killing of this young man.

What will happen to those that take the major portion of the national cake?
