Jussie Smollett! Police share photos of two suspects after ‘racist and homophobic’ attack

The Chicago police department have shared photos from a surveillance camera that shows two possible suspects who were in the area of the alleged assault and battery of Empire star actor, Jussie Smollett, fondly called Jamal Lyon.

The police will be questioning these possible suspects for their possible role in the attack which took place eon Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

The spokesperson for the Chicago Police, Anthony Guglielmi, tweeted an update on the case which disclosed that investigators have acquired a footage which could lead to the possible arrest of the culprits.

Smollett was attacked in Chicago by two “white” yet to be identified men who “yelled out racial and homophobic slurs” then hit him in the face, poured bleach on him and put a rope around his neck, the actor said.

According to reports, Smollett and his music manager told the police they were on the phone with each other during the attack.
