JUST IN: FCT restricts business, commercial activities over coronavirus
The Federal Capital Territory has announced the restriction of business and commercial activities to 6 am-9 pm as part of new measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The territory also urged residents to restrict their movements outside the residence from 9 pm.
The FCT Minister, Muhammad Bello, who announced these on Thursday at a press briefing in Abuja also said restaurants are only allowed to serve meals in takeaway packs.
“Sittings in restaurants are discouraged except in hotels where social distancing is practicable,” he said.
