JUST IN: Former commissioner tests positive for Covid-19 in Benue
A new case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Benue State.
The suspect is Mrs. Rebecca Apezan, a former commissioner in the state.
Governor Samuel Ortom disclosed this at a media briefing Monday in Makurdi, the state capital
WuzupNigeria reports that Apedzan was a former member of the House of Representatives, and for eight years she was a Commissioner in Benue state as well as a former State Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress [APC].
She also headed Benue Women’s Forum [BWF] at a time.
