JUST IN: Nigeria records 226 new cases of COVID-19, total now 6,401
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control [NCDC] has announced the country recorded 226 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
The new cases bring total confirmed cases in the country to 6401. Of this, 1734 have been discharged while 192 deaths were recorded.
WuzupNigeria reports that Lagos the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria recorded 131 new cases.
The NCDC wrote,
