JUST IN: Obaseki submits form for Edo guber race
Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has submitted his nomination and expression of interest form at the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress(APC).
The National Organising Secretary, Barrister Emma Ibidiro, received the form from the aspirant.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had on Monday met with Godwin Obaseki at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where he presented his nomination form, seeking re-election on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Obaseki has been engaged in a political tussle with his predecessor and godfather, Adams Oshiomhole, who is also the National Chairman of the party.

Oshiomhole is thought to favour former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, for the APC ticket.
Meanwhile, ahead of the governorship primary election of the APC scheduled for this month even as crisis still exist within the Edo APC, Obaseki has submitted his nomination and expression of interest form at the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress(APC).
