#JusticeForStephen: Police ‘arrest’ two over doctor killed a day after graduation
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the state command, Elkana Bala, confirmed this to SaharaReporters on Friday.
WuzupNaija reports that Urueye was stabbed to death on Thursday night right in front of the LUTH gate at Idi-Araba, Lagos, a day after participating in the UNILAG’s convocation ceremony.
Urueye’s colleagues who protested his death on Friday said Idi-Araba road is notorious for habitual robberies and killings by hit men.
“We want the Police to do something about it,” one of the protesters said.
“We are doctors, saving lives. It can’t be that our own lives are not safe.”
The command’s PRO said two arrests had been made and the suspects are under interrogation.
