After weeks of heightened excitement and spectacular performances, magician Shin Lim, has emerged the winner of America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

The 27-year-old Canadian-American magician recognized for his use of card manipulation and sleight of hand was also the season 13 winner in 2018.

Magician Shin Lim beat 11 contenders from similar talent contests worldwide, including British singer Susan Boyle popular burn survivor, Kechi Okwuchi.

“It’s crazy, to be honest. I still have to pinch myself. First winning AGT was crazy to me, but winning Champions was even more crazy. It’s very overwhelming and super exciting,” People magazine quoted Lim, who picked up US$25,000 (S$33,900), as saying.

The season started last month with 50 of the best acts from Got Talent franchises around the world and the competition was narrowed down to the Top 12 for the finals, which Nigerian signer Kechi was a part of.

Meanwhile, Lim will be getting married in August to dancer Casey Thomas in Hawaii.
