KEDCO donates N2m, other items to Katsina
Mr. Vijaykwunae Sonnawane, Chief Operating Officer, Kano State Electricity Supply Company (KEDCO) says the company has donated food items to Katsina State Government as palliatives for distribution to the vulnerable.
Sonnawane while handing over the items to Governor Aminu Masari in Katsina on Friday, said the gesture was part of the organization’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
He explained that the palliatives included, 100 bags of rice, 100 jerricans of vegetable Oil for cooking, and N2 million cash donation.
The chief operating officer said that KEDCO would continue to live up to its responsibilities to improve the lives of the masses.
Gov. Masari while receiving the donation, thanked the organization for the gesture and urged it to continue to improve its services for the interest of the common people.
He pledged that his administration would continue to partner with the company in providing good governance to citizens.
