Keke rider attempts to procure abortion for 14-year-old girl he raped, lands in police custody

A commercial tricyclist,  otherwise known as Keke rider, is presently assisting the police in their investigation after raping, impregnating, and attempting to procure an abortion for her.

According to human rights activist, Gwamnishu Emefiena Harrison, the keke driver, identified as Samuel, had taken the teenager to a private clinic for abortion when the bubble burst.

A nurse, seeing the age of the girl, notified Harrison who arrived at the clinic and took the girl away to the police.

The girl alleged that the Keke rider forcefully had sexual intercourse with her. She also revealed she was injured when she tried to run away from the room.

According to investigations, Samuel’s brother also allegedly had sexual intercourse with the victim.

Samuel was arrested early this morning and handed over to the police for further investigations and prosecution.

ARREST OF KEKE RIDER WHO IMPREGNATED 14 YEARS OLD GIRL IN WARRI DELTA STATE.

Yesterday we received a distress call from a nurse (Name withheld) who told us about a 14yrs old girl led into a private hospital for Abortion.

We quickly traveled to Warri, arrived at the hospital and took the girl away and quickly reported to the police.

The girl shared to us us how Samuel (Keke rider) forcefully had intercourse with her and showed us injury she sustained in her right hand when she tried to run away from the room.

Investigations also revealed Samuel’s brother also had sexual intercourse with the victim.

At about 6:15am, we got Samuel arrested and handed over to the police for further investigations and prosecution.

This is to inform the general public to always protect, teach their child and save them from paedophile who are looking for any opportunity to strike.

It’s everyone’s worst nightmare – the thought of someone living near you harming your child.

We plead with all Government Agencies responsible for child welfare to step out of their comfort zone to protect our children.

In each intervention, we spend close to N100,000 (Transportation, Mobilize Police, investigations Legal fees and Accommodation).

About 10-30 percent of child abuse victims never report their abuse because many don’t recognize their victimization as abuse, or they are afraid to speak.
