Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has ignited an “unhealthy” squabble on Twitter after she described some Kenyan Twitteratti as “illiterates who writes in Akuna Matata language”.

The 54-year old who never fails to use derogatory terms to describe her perceived “haters” also called out Victoria Kimani, a popular female artiste from Kenya.

“#KenyavsNigeria Kenyans?? are so full of pride because of their animal safari location mentality. A whole Beyonce trying to revive her career chose 5 Nigerian artists for #brownskingirls #LionKing track. Simba and Nala don’t know you. How market Victoria Kimani?

“Kenyans pls WRITE your tweets in ENGLISH. I dislike illiterates. This your Akuna Matata language is unreadable. I read all tweets,” she wrote.

Olunloyo said Kenyans are full of pride and claimed that Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city is a dangerous city.

Olunloyo further said that Kenyan Defence Forces need to pay more attention to terror whispers and claimed that Universities in Kenya “don’t provide adequate security”.

“Nairobi is a very dangerous city. After what happened to my relatives at the US embassy 1998, I wrote a letter piece to @TIME magazine. Their country did NOT protect the most powerful embassy in the world. All they boast about is a Kenyan American being president #KenyavsNigeria.

“The bombing of the US embassy will never be forgotten as the Kenyans constantly let terrorists infiltrate Nairobi. My audio newscast of #Westgate was archived. I will bring them out today. I was the only Journalist who covered from Nigeria in-depth via @kdfinfo spokesman.

“Nobody in their right mind should ENTER Nairobi. After Westgate, they had Dusit. Nairobi has never learned their lesson. Kenya’s greed lies around tourism. Wanna see a lion, get to a zoo. The real lions are the terrorists who hire ignorant Kenyan youth to join the terror cells.

“The @kdfinfo need to pay more attention to terror whispers, something that prevented me from attending many events in Nairobi. It’s Somali provenance & ideological affiliation with al-Qa`ida, and its growing cohort of trained, experienced East African fighters looms daily #Kenya.

“Garissa University attack 2015 took ~149 lives. Imagine your child gunned down in their hostel by Al-Shabaab militants. Universities in Kenya don’t provide adequate security. That case alone underestimates the @kdfinfo but is that their job? Police in Kenya is almost non-existent, Olulonyo’s tweets reads in part.

Her tweets have since degenerated into a heated argument with Kenyan’s and Nigerians’s locking horns with words.

Some media outlets also “ripped out” Olunloyo by noting that the 54-year-old was deported from Canada after being determined a flight risk when her refugee visa was not renewed.

Some further added that Olunloyo was remanded into custody at Vanier Centre for Women, a female maximum prison, for seven days before she was deported to Nigeria.
