Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian has tested positive for lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.
The was revealed during the latest season premiere of their reality show.
“Lately, my wrists have started to hurt again, but it’s definitely a different feeling than before. I feel this, like, in my bones,” said Kardashian.
After undergoing a blood test to determine the cause of the painful physical symptoms like swollen joints, headaches, general fatigue—the KKW Beauty founder got a call from Dr. Daniel Wallace with her results.
“Your antibodies are positive for Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis,” Wallace explained, before going on to list a handful of the illnesses’ corresponding side effects, joint pain and exhaustion among them. Still, the doctor made sure to remind her that these test results alone don’t necessarily confirm the actual presence of either disease. “Sometimes you can get false positives in these screenings,” he said, and they scheduled a follow-up appointment for Friday of that week.
A sacred Kim told Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kris Jenner, “I’m freaking out.” Momager Kris, however, urged her girls to “stay really positive until we get some results.”

Thinking about the pain in my hands and what it could be is really scary and can get you in a scary head space. I was so anxious to just figure out what was wrong #KUWTK
