American model and actress, Kim Porter, has been found dead in her Los Angeles home on Thursday.

The 47-year-old actress who shares three children with popular musician and entrepreneur, Sean Combs popularly known as P Diddy, died after weeks of suffering flu-like symptoms, and possibly pneumonia.

P.Diddy’s rep, Cindi Berger confirmed the news to TMZ saying, “Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time.”

Kim Porter dated P.Diddy on and off for 13 years, between 1994 and 2007, is a mom to four children – Quincy Brown (from a previous relationship) Christian Casey Combs, Jessie James Combs, and D’Lila Star Combs with P Diddy.

Many celebrities took to their Instagram page to write an emotional tribute to the late actress.

Rihanna wrote:

“this is heavy. heartbroken about this man. we lost a real one today, beautiful inside and out. so many will be affected by this, some won’t even know why…but the whole world was graced by the vibrance in your spirit.

“My deepest condolences to the ones that were blessed enough to know, meet, and love her! Such a special soul man! This don’t even feel real! May God comfort and protect her children and loved ones! RIP @ladykp.”

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson also wrote on Twitter:

“R.I.P to Kim Porter, I send my condolences to her friends and family. She was loved and will be missed dearly,” he said. “I know Puff is hit right now, he loved her for real, soul mate type sh–. Chin up puff, Positive vibes only.”
