Lagos building collapse: No casualty left under debris – LASEMA
The General Manager of The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Tiamiyu Muyiwa Adesina, has said there is no casualty left under the debris of the collapsed building.
Tiamiyu, who spoke with newsmen at the site of the incident on Thursday morning, confirmed that all casualty trapped in the collapsed building have been rescued.
He said,
“We stopped work at 3am after recovering the lifeless body of a male and we are sure there is no casualty left under the debris”
He however said LASEMA cannot confirm the total figure of casualty rescued from the building, saying the ministry of health would release the accurate figure later in the day.
