#LagosIsland: Heartbroken father confirms his son died in collapsed school building [Video]
A heartbroken father has confirmed that his son, Korede Ayinde, lost his life in the three-storey building which collapsed in Lagos Island on Wednesday.
According to our reporter, the devasted father said their son was one of those brought out dead from the building.
His father as identified the child’s body at the Lagos Island Mortuary.
Korede was a pupil of Ohen nursery and primary school situated on the 2nd floor of the building. The sad incident happened around 10 am.
A family member also said the mother does know about her son’s death but fainted immediately she heard about the building collapse.
The family could not ascertain her present location now as sympathisers had her taken her away.
