At last, the man who brought MMM to Nigeria speaks out on the freeze
One Chuddy Ugorji, an MMM guider whose wife claimed was the one who brought the ponzi scheme to Nigeria has spoken out about the current predicament facing the people who invested in the scheme in Nigeria.
Ugorji appealed to MMM investors not to panic, adding that the accounts would be unfrozen in January as said. He dismissed any thoughts that the scheme would crash soon. He explained that there are no central accounts for the scheme so there is no way the money can be stolen.
He blamed the current panic mode on the media whom he described as anti-MMM.
He said: “Bloggers who get paid for promoting rumour, when ignorant Nigerians click on their blogs , Google Ad sense pays them per click. Hence they seized this opportunity to enrich themselves even when most of them are participants and have taken more from the community, many of them are involved in uploading Fake Pop’s and multiple accounts all in the bid to frustrate the programme of the community and that is part of what is been looked into and it would be stop(ped) so that we have a healthy and stronger MMM NIGERIA in 2017.”
With over 300 comments, more than 550 shares and over 900 reactions, many MMMers expressed hope that the scheme would bounce back and there is no need to panic.
