Chidiogo the daughter of late Professor Dora Akunyili got traditionally married to the love of her life, Andrew Parr in Agulu, Anambra State, on Saturday.

After their beautiful white wedding at Madonna Catholic Church, Andrew Parr and Chidiogo moved to the bride’s parents residence for the second part.

Her late mother, Dora Akunyili, was the former director-general of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control. She was the Minister of Information and Communications from 2008 to 2010.

Wuzup Naija had reported that the pair had a civil ceremony in Canada in February.

The happy bride gushed about her colourful wedding on her Instagram page. She wrote,

“Andrew and I made a conscious effort to infuse this day with the intention of love and #sacredflow.

“So much gratitude to all the people who made the day filled with laughter, tears, music, dance, love, and the knowing that my mother was with us every step of the way.”
