Angry Chelsea fans on Monday stormed Twitter with calls that the Blues goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, be thrown in the reserves to rot.

The calls came after various media outlets in England reported that the goalkeeper, who represented Belgium at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, has gone AWOL at Chelsea in a bid to force a move to Real Madrid.

Belgium reached the semi-finals of the competition, coming third after a playoff victory over England. However, Chelsea teammates: Hazard, Willian, Kante, and Cahill are back in training for the Blues after representing their countries at the mundial.

Chelsea fans are angry and the tweets below expressed their anger

Get out our club @thibautcourtois and never ever look back. You’re pathetic, you’re immature and quite frankly a disgrace.

We gave up our all time greater goalkeeper for you, we gave up our hero of a coach for you and you don’t even have the decency to speak.
