Contrary to speculation, YBNL CEO and Hip Hop star Olamide has said there is no beef with Lil Kesh.
Lil Kesh had established his own record label, Yagi, late April sparking speculation that he had fallen out with his mentor and boss.
But Olamide rubbished such talk during an interview with TVC Connect.
When asked about claims by Lil Kesh that he is still with YBNL, Olamide said, “He is still with YBNL, YBNL just helped him set up his own record label and we help him to manage the business at the same time.”
He had explained in April that Lil Kesh had a two-year deal with YBNL, which had expired, stressing that they remained a family.
However, the rumours of trouble remained strong especially as many people recalled how Olamide clashed with Don Jazzy at the Headies at Mavin Record artist Reekado Banks beat Lil Kesh to the coveted but controversial Next Rated Headies for 2015.
For some, the move by Kesh only meant there was trouble. Well, for those who are busy “trouble-spotting”, Olamide is busy putting in work – shooting videos for himself and Adekunle Gold and producing songs for his artists. Yes, he said so.
