MADAM SPARE YOURSELF THE TALES OF LIES! Nigerians counter Dolapo Badmus over #EndSARS
Some Nigerians on Twitter have countered a statement made by the Chief Superintendent of Police, Dolapo Badmus, claiming that most people allegedly brutalised by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad lied.
Nigerians mocked her and insisted that the Police are not protecting Nigerians.
Some said that “they are a terrorist organization” killing Nigerians on a daily basis adding that the sins of the NPF are so much to mention.
Some also gave antecedents and lambasted Badmus for being one-sided.

Recall that Badmus had said most acts of brutality attributed to SARS were actually committed by “normal policemen”.
Badmus had also stressed that the brutality of SARS operatives was being overexaggerated on social media.

At least I can confirm that three Nigerian police officers are corrupt. Honestly I have evidence of their corruption. This ones were out on illegal duty, intact for extortion. And it was against my family oooo. Well that day they met a huge resistance, just waiting to report them.

Sharrap there, there’s no smoke without fire. So they edited the videos? Or the citizens on Nigeria did council meeting to “feign” SARS? No, Oya tell us why did they not post videos of soldiers? Face this truth, it’s a round table you’d meet yours.

Madam spare yourself the tells of lies. Satan himself is scared of the Nigerian police. The problem in the force is illiteracy, the all further their education once employed and pay their way through education. So keep using vudu for investigations.
— Beduky (@TomEssien) July 29, 2018
Sorry Dolapo Badmus, nobody is feigning SARS brutality, SARS r evil, criminals, kidnappers, extortionists, murderers, and unfit to be called police. Scrap SARS n reorganized the police force for better protection n service delivery
— Luckiano06 (@Luckiano06) July 29, 2018
Outside Nigeria, Inside Nigeria, even in your police stations you see yourselves as corrupt and indeed with very good reason.
SARS is a menace to our society and eye witness records of their excesses are inexhaustible. How can you even try this line of talk as a PR move?— ChumaGunner (@chukwumaikonne) July 29, 2018
The problem wit these senior officers of d police/sars is dat, dey move around in cities like Lekki, ikeja, V.i, magodo etc where their operatives knw dey wil b checked. Dey should go to remote areas nd see d brutalities of their operatives on innocent pple just to extort money.

It’s not a mistake but reality. But it is not late to redeem the image of @NigeriaPolice . The police has hurt every family in Nigeria.

— Febisike Mic-shittu (@febisike) July 28, 2018
This girl is crap. Police no be police again? Has there been any time any formation of the Nigerian Police has A good image? NONSENSE!
— Ouch Post (@OUCHFRANDIB) July 28, 2018
….yet the pretend social media views don’t matter. Thank God Nigeria did not invent the internet.
— Ibe (@utellmemore) July 28, 2018
You are just discrediting the police the more, with your statement. You should simply have said: “The Nigerian Police is ready to redeem its image by making sure every SARS case brought before it is sincerely and thoroughly investigated. We are very determined on this.”

You have no good image at any time! I rejected the offer to become a police officer after my graduation from the university just because of your corrupt image. Even my dad, a retired officer tried to convince me but I didn’t!!!! Your character needs to change?
— Ebhodaghe Emmanuel (@Omozokpiajacob) July 28, 2018
It’s simple, SARS should change and be a decent/ responsible force….trust me, this bad image will change within 2 weeks the way Nigerians will praise them on social media….

So people are also faking the deaths, the open harassment and the barrage of audio-visuals to proof. Sometimes I wonder if one can actually leave one’s brain elsewhere and be elsewhere speaking without it. Apparently, it seems so. Sadly so, this is a terrible example of that.
— Emmy (@EmmyAngley) July 29, 2018
There is no point complaining about the police. Nothing can change except @NGRPresident is changed or can suddenly wake up to his responsibility and make a major shake-up of the outfit with strict rules of engagement
— fisayo (@fissy7) July 29, 2018
PROOF TO NIGERIANS YOU ARE NOT.Everything you guys does point towards that,so convince us.
— TonyCommonManVoice (@TonyIshola) July 28, 2018
@Opetodolapo @PoliceNG You guys are not only seen outside Nig as corrupt police officers, You are seen as Number One problem of Nigeria. The tools of corruptions.
— Ayodeji Williams (@Haryourtheyji) July 28, 2018
Am just wondering why they employ people with no conscience or probably doctored individuals to pilot the security affairs of this country.
Oh! Sorry our naija.
When people share their encounters with these touts called SARS u call it feigning.
Go chop whale shit— chuks david (@Davidfolksy) July 29, 2018
It’s absurd to come on SM n claim people are feigning SARS harassment n corruption. It is a known fact dat Nigeria Police is one of d most corrupt institution in d whole world. An institution dat can’t carry out background check on her officers.Very indiscipline set of people.
— Shuues (@mo_shuues) July 29, 2018
The Police must not be deterred from its constitution responsibility, no matter the level of blackmail, but it should also purge the force of bad elements and re-orientate its men to be mindful of their acts wherever they’re sent.

NPF are not protecting Nigerians. They are a terrorist organization killing Nigerians on a daily basis. Recently a Nigerian fresh graduate , serving Nigeria under the NYSC was shot dead by a police officer in Abuja. What of the APO 6.The sins of the NPF is so much to mention
