A lion reportedly attacked and devoured a 14-year-old pupil in a private zoo in Bohicon, Benin Republic.

According to reports, the 4th-grade schoolboy was carrying out a maintenance check on 6th of March, 2018 on the lion’s cage when he was attacked.

It was gathered that it wasn’t the first time the boy would be carrying such checks.

The lion was also said to have killed an animal.

Policemen were later called to kill the lion.
