A video has emerged on the internet of a man stealing a generator set from a compound in Lagos.

The thief was captured on Closed Circuit Television as he carried out the robbery act on Sunday.

From the CCTV footage, the man was seen sneaking into the corridor where generators were kept, he opened the iron cage housing the generator and hides it in a sack.

He thereafter covered the opening part of the sack with another bag, strapped the heavy load to his back, put on a fez cap and head out of the compound.

He carried out the operation successfully and left the crime scene unchallenged.
