A man simply identified as Paschal has allegedly died hours after he was attacked by a mob in Anambra State.

The late paschal was allegedly accused of being a kidnapper by some villagers in a community in Anambra.

According to a Twitter user, Frany @franyjacobs, his friend was almost burnt if not for the timely intervention of a policeman who eventually rushed him to a hospital.

In a tweet thread, Frany narrated the sad incident and called on authorities for justice.

He said his friend eventually died because he needed oxygen and the hospital he was rushed to had no oxygen. The Twitter user also shared a video of his late friend lying lifeless in his damaged car.

In another video, the deceased car was set ablaze by unidentified persons.

He was passing by a village and as he was going, two children broke his windscreen with stone, he stopped and started chasing the children so he caught one but others ran into the village shouting kidnappers so the villagers came and started beating him up without allowing him to express himself.

“He was beaten and almost burnt if not for the policemen that intervened and took him to the hospital. He survived after they operated on him, But hours later after the operation, He started coughing for up to 1 hour.

“That was how another guy was mistaken for a thief that was on the run, he was beaten and almost burnt to death if not for the intervention of one of the people chasing the thief that said he wasn’t the one.He was rushed to the hospital but it was 3rd degree burn,he later died.
