Champions League: Jesus, De Bruyne to the rescue as Manchester City beat Madrid at Bernabeu
English Premier League champions beat Real Madrid 2-1 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League knock out stage match at Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
Madrid took the lead in the 60th minute after Isco scored his first Champions League knockout goal for the Spanish side since May 2017.
18 minutes after, Gabriel Jesus levelled for City to further heat up the match.
Kelvin De Bruyne then scored from the spot to give City a win in Spain.
Meanwhile, Madrid captain Sergio Ramos was sent off in the 86th minute after pulling back Gabriel Jesus before he reached the box while he was chasing in on goal.
