A controversial statement on marriage by Pastor Folu Adeboye, wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adebayo, is currently courting controversies online.

In a tweet by RCCG’S official handle, Pastor Folu reportedly advised singles to consult their pastor first about marriage before their parent.

She was speaking at the ongoing National Youth Convention of the church.

The tweet reads;

“There should be no confusion in the house of God.

“You have to go to your Pastor first to consult for marriage before your parent.”

However, Twitterati’s have begun to debate the marriage statement made by Pastor Folu Adeboye.
