Media firm, UMEH, set to launch magazine to celebrate African achievers

UMEH Media owned by UMEH Group is expanding its media portfolio with the announcement of Star Magazine Africa in sub-Sahara Africa.

Speaking on the announcement, CEO of UMEH Media, Khanyisile Nkosi, said Star Magazine Africa is dedicated to African superstars across a spectrum of industries spanning from entertainment, business, media, music, mining, television, radio, investments, sport, real estate, construction, and restaurants, among others.

One interesting segment would be recognizing Africans who have impacted their community positively by including them in the highly reserved Annual Top 100 Most Influential African Stars that will be known as “Star 100 Africa”.

The listing would be exclusive for influential personalities whose influence has a positive bearing on their community and indeed Africa at large.

Although no official date was mentioned, Star Magazine Africa is set to go live soon as heavy preparations are ongoing for a great launch.

The magazine would have its operational base in several African countries which would be supervised by it headquarter office based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

UMEH Media is a subsidiary of UMEH Group owned by a South-African based businessman, Xolane Ndhlovu and has interests in logistics, equity management, real estate, and media among others.
