Fast-rising music star, Teni the Entertainer has stirred up myriad reactions after she posted a clip of herself insulting a foreigner in Yoruba dialect.

In the video posted on Twitter, the singer was seen on the street of Los Angeles asking passersby how she could locate the home of American hip hop singers Chris Brown, P Diddy and Kanye West. When the man couldn’t give her desired response,  Teni rained curses on him in Yoruba.

She posted the video and wrote:

“Please I’m looking for Chrisbrown and Puff daddy!! Please I’m in LA CALIFORNIA! Who knows the way to their house??

In the past few days, the singer who is on a music tour had constantly posted “funny” videos shoing her mocking foreigners in Yoruba.

However, Teni seems to have incurred the wrath of Twitteratti who opined she was taking her joke too far by resulting to insults and curses.

Reacting to the comments,  Teni Makanaki said the white man in the video was a friend who attended the same university with her. She tweeted;

“Which energy are we keeping? Someone that his head is not correct. How can he say he doesn’t know my own Kanye West. Me and him been having this argument for over 5years. He must like Kanye. It is by force. He’s my friend btw. We went to Uni together.

“???? somebody I’ve eaten thanksgiving dinner in his house, and I introduced his mommy to Maggi cube, because the turkey no sweet. Pepper no dey the food…”
