A mom has reportedly stabbed her three children to death in Awo Idemili, Imo State.

Various online blogs claimed the woman had tricked her husband, one Emeka Ajoihe, to attend a vigil while she stays at home with the children.

She was said to have locked the door after Mr Ajoihe left for church.

According to her mother-in-law, before the husband could return from a vigil around 12 pm, she had stabbed her six-month-old baby, her two years old daughter, and three-year-old daughter.

The baby – a boy – and the two-year-old daughter were already dead when the husband returned from the vigil.

However, the third daughter was still breathing and rushed to the hospital.

Unconfirmed reports say that the third daughter has also died.
