Videos have emerged on social media showing moments operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) met stiff resistance when they invaded the home of the immediate past governor of Lagos State Akinwunmi Ambode.

The anti-graft agency in a statement has said it didn’t raid the house but only visited as part of its investigations into the administration of the ex-governor.

In the footages shared on social media, residents of the area were seen as they trooped out to protest against the activities of the anti-graft agency at Ambode’s house.

Ambode is said to be presently out of the country when EFCC visited his home.

The operatives who raided the house arrived with two unmarked vehicles, a white bus and a pickup van.
