Like Lady Gaga, multiple award-winning Canadian singer, Celine Dion, is about pulling her collab with R.Kelly from streaming services.

According to TMZ, the song ” I’m Your Angel” is in the process of being pulled by Celine’s team.

This move comes in the wake of the recent Lifetime documentary series, “Surviving R. Kelly” that chronicles allegations of abuse, predatory behaviour, and paedophilia against Kelly.

Since the docuseries a lot of celebrities including his daughter have lent their voices to the allegations levelled against him.

“I’m Your Angel was recorded in 1998 and appeared on her holiday album, “These are Special Times,” R. Kelly wrote the song but it did not appear on any of his albums.

The song reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for 6 weeks. It went certified platinum and sold more than 1.5 million copies. It was also nominated for a Grammy.

Recall that Lady Gaga had also apologised to fans for having a collaboration with embattled R. Kelly and vowed not to work with him again.

The Grammy Award singer who sang “Do What U Want (With My Body)” with Kelly in a statement said she stands behind these women 100%, believe them, know they are suffering and in pain, and feel strongly that their voices should be heard and taken seriously.

According to her statement, their collaboration will be removed from iTunes and streaming services.
