There has always been a lot of controversy surrounding the sexuality of Nigerian television personality, Denrele Edun.

Whenever the secrecy of his sexuality is being probed, the media personality has a way of dodging the questions and giving answers that make it more complex for the nosy public.

In a recent chat with VJ Adams on a new episode of ‘Off the top’, Denrele said:

“People ask me, you are all kinds of sexual– homosexual, bisexual, metrosexual, sexual-sexual, solo-sexual… I had to come up with something.

“I said OK, I’m a sexual outlaw, but I have played it out now, because when they ask me what does that mean, I say, go and figure it out. 

“So let’s just say my sexuality is very fluid. When it comes to my sexuality, I have experimented a lot. I have been very adventurous, experimental, I am a dare devil.”

When asked about his love life, he said: 

“I have not been very lucky with love. People I used to be crazy about back then are married now with kids. It is very hard for me to question when people come because everybody just wants something.

“I can’t tell who is genuine, authentic or who doesn’t want something. I love love, I am a hopeless romantic, I have so much to give,” he said.

Speaking further, the award-winning TV host noted that he will still be involved in showbiz ten years from now.

He said:

“I can’t think of anything else I will be doing with myself or enjoy doing.

“On whether he likes to be a radio presenter, Denrele said he doesn’t like the sound of his voice.

“I don’t like the sound of my voice, I don’t think I have ever said this anywhere.I feel that If I have to play back my voice on  the airways It will be totally annoying and I will really burst the speakers.My voice frequency is high, I don’t  know how to whisper”.
