Popular jersey maker, Nike, has just unveiled the new home and away jersey design for the Nigerian male and female national football teams.

This jersey was released in New York, the United States ahead of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations match-day three home qualifying encounter against Sierra Leone.

The jersey has started trending on popular microblogging site, Twitter.

In what looks like a retro design, the Jersey was unveiled by Nike, with two models, male and female, representing the Super Eagles and Falcons respectively.

Speaking on his official Twitter account, Senior Director, Global Communications for Nike, Heidi Burgett said, on Wednesday evening:

“New 2020 kits for Nigeria: Home kit’s hand drawn design fuses the traditional aesthetic of an agbada robe w/ modern football design. Away kit trim is inspired by Onaism. Broader collection of Super Eagles apparel includes a poncho, vest, dress, & more.”
