Nigerian lady alleged SARS officials fondled, humiliated her, Police reacts
The spokesperson for the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, which supervises Ogun and Lagos police commands, SP Dolapo Badmus, has reacted to the news of a Nigerian lady, Kachi Anifela Zion, that alleged that officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Ilorin sexually molested her in Ilorin.
Badmus who reacted on Instagram said she received the disturbing news on Monday, October 16, 2017, and reached out to Kachi to recount her ordeal.
Badmus further said she contacted the commissioner of police in Kwara state through the PPRO and assured the public that the Police would take actions over the alleged sexual harassment.
She wrote, Yesterday 16th of October I received various tags about the complaint of a young lady who was allegedly rough handled by some policemen.
“I reached out to her, she recounted her ordeals. I did a follow up to Kwara state where the alleged incident occurred.
“The commissioner of police in the state through the PPRO are looking into the matter, members of the public including the complainant should rest assured that justice will prevail. Thanks to you all for your cooperation and trust.”
The lady narrated the events on her Instagram page, @69bars. She claimed the officers harassed and forcefully pushed her into a police truck.
